Infinity’s 3rd Annual Local Artist Showcase and Art Market | Arts & Culture
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (March 1, 2017) – Infinity will be hosting the 3rd Annual Local Artist Showcase and Art Market on Saturday, March 11 from 11pm-4pm at the Infinity Arts Café in Jamestown.
The art market will feature work for sale from an eclectic variety of talented local artists, an art auction of locally-made art (auction proceeds to benefit Infinity), and an array of fun, family and arts-based activities.
Local Artist Showcase began in 2014 as a complementary spring fund-raising event to Infinity’s Local Music Showcase that happens each fall. Local Artist Showcase features 20 or more artists each year and is a great way to show support for Chautauqua County’s visual arts community!
A silent auction of locally crafted items will take place at the event. Items can be viewed online at Infinity’s Local Artist Showcase Facebook page at: www.Facebook.com/LocalArtistShowcase. Online pre-bids are also being accepted until Friday, March 10. Participating artists donated auction items, and all proceeds from the auction event will support arts education experiences for young people at the Infinity Center.
Infinity’s Marketing Coordinator, Stephanie Rogers, says, “We are really looking forward to this year’s Local Artist Showcase Event! Support from our local visual artists has been outstanding, and it is a great show of support for Infinity’s students to see our area artists supporting the work they are doing at Infinity. We have a variety of exciting family friendly activities planned, and we look forward to seeing everyone come out to enjoy the afternoon and support local art”!
Featured artists for the 2017 event include:
Anthony Flint, Ashley Ordines, Brendan Halbom, Carrie Tredo, Catherine Walsh, Daniel Marchini, Debra Eck, Faith Gibbons, Josh Keach (Yoshi) , Laurie McGrath, Leslie Calimeri, Lisa Offhaus, Nicole Willsey, Ryan Hawkins
Tickets for Local Artist Showcase are $5 per person, and will be available to purchase at the door on the day of the event. Children 18 and under will be admitted free of charge.
