Bemus Bay Pops to Perform on the Floating Stage in Bemus Point

This Labor Day The Bemus Bay Pops Concert Series does it again with their successful Labor Day concert series featuring the full symphonic Bemus Bay Pops orchestra under the direction of Bruce Morton Wright along with John Marcellus and Steve Swanson bringing the 2010 summer season to a close witn an incredible musical finale that can only be described as magical and world class!

Heads Up for the Bemus Bay Pops Craft Beer Festival!

The Bemus Bay Pops Concert Series is very proud to announce The Craft Beer Festival 2010 - an annual Fund raising event supporting The Bemus Bay Pops.

The Craft Beer Festival features beer from breweries including Southern Tier Brewing Company, Ellicottville Brewing Company and Michelob Brewing Company, and will take place on September 2, 2010 from 6-9 PM. with performances by Sean Patrick McGraw, Sylvia Fletcher, and The Fabulous Gunslingers.

This SPECIAL FUNDRAISING EVENT presented on the Floating Stage is being sponsored by The Italian Fisherman, Media One Group, Smith's, The See-Zurh House, Century 21 Turner Brokers and The Bemus Bay Pops.

The Bemus Bay Pops Present The Little River Band, August 28

The Bemus Bay Pops Concert Series is very proud to announce a SPECIAL EVENT performance of The Little River Band on August 28, 2010 with the show starting at 7:30 pm on The Floating Stage located next to The Italian Fisherman Restaurant 61 Lakeside Drive Bemus Point, New York.

 Little River Band was the first Australian band to successfully conquer foreign markets from an Australian base. Within eight months of their birth in 1975, they had already scored three Australian Top 20 singles and two Top Ten albums. Then in 1976, their self-titled album was released in the US and Canada and they began their first of many tours across North America.

Chautauqua Light the Lakes - Bemus Bay Pops 2010 Concert Season Spectacular!

 

The 3rd Annual Light the Lakes Fireworks Extravaganza will take place during Labor Day weekend with the big "take-off" on Sunday, September 5. Highlights include: 13th Annual Findley Lake Harvest Festival, a special performance from Boogie Wonder Band on the Floating Stage, Bemus Point, NY; and air communication with special event pilot, Lou Nalbone, Jamestown Aviation Company.

 

At 9:14 pm the lighting of the flares for the ‘Ring of Fire’ will commence, followed by the amazing launching of Sky Lanterns at 9:21 pm - all lead up to the grand finale! At 9:31 pm – BLAST OFF – the spectacular lighting of the Chautauqua Sky begins. At each "take-off" location the fireworks will run simultaneously to a specially programmed music soundtrack aired exclusively on Media One Group radio station SE93 (93.3 FM).

Comedy Night in the Arena Club

Featuring Bubba Bradley, a national touring comedian who can be seen on NBC and Joe Ullo, winner of the Rock 103.1 Last Comic Standing ‘09. Adam Owens, 2010 winner of the Rock 103.1 Last Comic Standing contest will be the emcee for the show rounding out a great cast of comics to keep everybody entertained all night long! The show will take place August 20th at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena Club. Doors open at 7:30 pm with showtime at 8:30 pm. There will be an $8 Cover and this is a 18 and up show. REO Speedwagon Comes to Jamestown NY!!

            REO rolls into Jamestown for a rare concert appearance at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena on Thursday, September 23, at 7:30 p.m.

            What started as a local band playing cover songs in campus bars at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana grew to become an enduring musical force, selling more than 40 million albums and being honored with a Behind the Music special on VH1.
