Winter Market at Horsefeathers Returns from Holiday Hiatus

The popular Winter Market at Horsefeathers will return from its holiday break on Saturday, Jan. 11. The indoor market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through May 3 and occupies portions of the first floor and lower level of the Horsefeathers Market & Residences, located at 346 Connecticut St. on Buffalo’s West Side.

Community Beer Works, Buffalo’s first nanobrewery, is the newest vendor to join the market and will make their first appearance on Jan. 11. Occupying the community group table this Saturday will be representatives of The Bark Park at Black Rock Canal Park. Providing musical entertainment will be singer/guitarist Don Z.

The Winter Market features farm-fresh produce as well as hand-crafted and locally produced items from approximately 20 vendors, including products such as meat, eggs, wine, biscotti, cookies, homemade dog treats, jams, soaps, chocolates, pasta, veggie burgers, gluten-free selections and much more. Guests of the Winter Market can also become better acquainted with the establishment’s permanent businesses, including The Pasta Peddler, Blackbird Sweets, Jolie’s Traditional Chinese, Chow Chocolat and Martin Cooks restaurant.

The Frizlen Group Architects of Buffalo renovated the historic 19th century Horsefeathers Building. Twenty-four loft-style apartments occupy the building’s top four floors.
