West Seneca’s Outdoor Farmers’ Market Continues on July 7

Main Street Marketplace, West Seneca’s popular open-air farmers’ and food producers’ marketplace sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, continues on Thursday, July 7. The weekly event takes place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evenings through Sept. 1 on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, next to West Seneca Town Hall.

The outdoor venue features approximately 25 vendors selling a wide variety of products. Gray Matters Foundation will host the market’s community group table on July 7, while East Strings will provide musical entertainment from approximately 5:30 to 7 p.m. The market’s Family Fun Zone features several games for the enjoyment of kids of all ages.

Two Popular Programs Return to Elmwood Village Farmers Market on July 2

The popular Elmwood Village Farmers Market, featuring nearly 40 vendors selling fresh, seasonal and local produce and products, continues on Saturday, July 2. Hours at the open-air market, a program of the Elmwood Village Association, are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, rain or shine, through November. 

Two very popular programs — “Double Up Food Bucks” and “Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables” — return to the market this Saturday!

Jamestown, NY – Growing healthy, blooming, tasty, beautiful plants is one of the best parts of spring.

You are invited to get some plants, knowledge, tips and tricks at the Jamestown Audubon Nature Center’s annual Plant Exchange & Sale on Saturday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Gardeners know there are always volunteer plants that spring up and need new homes. The Plant Exchange & Sale was born to share those volunteers. It has grown to include donations from nurseries to provide some friendly and in-demand plants, a sale option for those just starting out who don’t yet have extras, and some seeds and informational displays.

Elmwood Village Farmers Market to Welcome 18th Season on Saturday, May 7

Several new vendors, talented local entertainers, community group informational tables, three KidBiz appearances and two Wellness Lanes will highlight a fun-filled 2016 season at the Elmwood Village Farmers Market. The selling season kicks off on Saturday, May 7, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 26. Hours at the open-air venue in Buffalo’s historic Elmwood Village are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. 

The market will once again start the season on the east side of Elmwood Avenue for the first four to six weeks before moving across the street to its usual location on the west side of Elmwood Avenue. This has become an annual practice for the purpose of grass recovery.
