JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- The Jamestown Police and Fire departments are investigating three arsons that occurred in the last week.

Police say the fires all happened on the north side of Jamestown at vacant residences within the last week. The fire occurred at 866 ½ Spring St. at 5:22 a.m. and 1052 N. Main Street at 3:52 a.m. on December 30.

Prior to these fires, officials were investigating another fire that occurred on Christmas Eve at 6 a.m. at 1054 ½ N. Main Street.

Investigators are also still investigating the arson fires that occurred at other vacant homes in the city that date back to 2014.

All of the fires are under investigation and police are asking for anyone who may have knowledge of these fires or other fires to contact them at (716)483-7531.
