Audubon’s Annual Plant Exchange and Sale Saturday, May 17

Audubon’s Annual Plant Exchange and Sale Saturday, May 17

Jamestown, NY – If gardening is on your mind, you’ll want to put the Audubon Center & Sanctuary’s Plant Exchange and Sale on your calendar.

Rain or shine, this annual event will be on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Gardeners know that there are always volunteer plants that spring up and need new homes. The Plant Exchange & Sale was born to share those volunteers.

This event started out as a place for people to exchange extra plants with other gardeners. It grew to include donations from nurseries, a sale option for those just starting out who don’t yet have extras, and some seeds and informational displays.

Come and exchange plants, knowledge, tips and tricks with other gardeners. Bring plants in pots (no plastic bags) or money, and exchange or buy plants and take them home.
